European Commission approves Roche’s Lunsumio subcutaneous for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma
ROBasel, 19 November 2025 - Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) announced today that the European Commission has granted conditional marketing authorisation of Lunsumio® (mosunetuzumab) subcutaneous (SC) for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory (R/R) follicular lymphoma (FL) after two or more lines of systemic therapy. Approval is based on results from the phase I/II GO29781 study, which showed that Lunsumio SC had pharmacokinetic non-inferiority compared with intravenous (IV) administration, with no unexpected safety signals.3
Roche receives CE mark for Contivue, its Port Delivery Platform containing Susvimo, for neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD)
RO(RO) Basel, 04 September 2025 - Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) announced today that it has received the EU CE mark for its Port Delivery Platform containing Susvimo, which will now be known as Contivue® in the EU.6 The device comprises the eye implant through which Susvimo is delivered, and four ancillary devices to initially fill, insert, refill, and remove the implant (if required).6 Susvimo® (ranibizumab injection) 100 mg/mL is currently under review with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the treatment of nAMD.6 With immediate and predictable durability, Contivue with Susvimo provides continuous delivery of a customised formulation of ranibizumab directly to the eye.6
Roche and Alnylam advance zilebesiran into global phase III cardiovascular outcomes trial for people with uncontrolled hypertension
RO(RO) Basel, 30 August 2025 - Roche (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY) and Alnylam (Nasdaq: ALNY) today announced the decision to initiate a Phase III cardiovascular outcomes trial (CVOT) to evaluate the ability of zilebesiran, a RNAi therapeutic, to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with uncontrolled hypertension. This decision was informed by the comprehensive KARDIA Phase II programme, including KARDIA 1, KARDIA 2 and the most recent KARDIA-3 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of zilebesiran in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and high cardiovascular (CV) risk, on two to four standard of care antihypertensives. In particular, KARDIA-3 aimed to define the patient population to be investigated in the Phase III CV outcomes trial.
Roche’s US subsidiary Genentech breaks ground on state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in North Carolina, USA
ROBasel, 25 August 2025 - Genentech, a member of the Roche Group (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY), today broke ground on its newest US manufacturing site in Holly Springs, North Carolina. This significant development marks the establishment of Genentech’s first manufacturing facility on the East Coast. The 65,000 m² facility is strategically designed to support production of the company’s future portfolio of metabolic medicines, including next-generation treatments for obesity.
