Will you tell me when to buy and sell?
No, Candlesense is a trading research, planning, and review tool that helps you find the most relevant stocks-in-play and make better trading decisions. If you're interested in getting scammed by a pump-and-dump WhatsApp group, just check your Facebook feed!
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes, but the app is recommended for desktop use, especially by intraday traders, and that will remain the focus for future development.
Do you support premarket and after-hours trading?
Yes. The scans are running through all US sessions, from 4am-8pm ET.
I'm a swing trader. Is Candlesense right for me?
Not yet! All features are focused on intraday trading. Do you have some feature ideas? Chat with us, let us know what you'd love to see.
What about charts?
The dashboard shows 1-minute charts for stocks-in-play. But please note, Candlesense is focused more on stock selection than stock analysis, so our charts won't be as good as a dedicated charting platform like TradingView.
Can you guarantee I'll be profitable using these scans?
No. Trading is risky! Candlesense is not a financial advisor, and we do not provide any guarantees. We're trying to make it easier to focus on the most promising setups each day, but that's only one piece of the puzzle. Trading is a skill that needs to be honed just like any other, and no scanner (nope, not even this one) will make you profitable without serious effort and education.
Do you have live news updates?
Yes. More importantly, this news is filtered in real-time to show only the most relevant headlines for US-listed public companies. We also make it very easy to see which stocks-in-play have active news, on a single screen.
Do you support futures and options?
The dashboard provides open interest levels for all US-listed options. Futures are coming soon!
Do you support OTC stocks?
No, and we have no plans to. While some people do make money trading OTC stocks, they're unsuitable for the majority of traders.
